A board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina, with over 13 years of experience in mental health. Dr. Koech specializes in psychiatric evaluation, including diagnosing and providing comprehensive treatment for individuals facing various mental health challenges.

Dr Koech is committed to evidence-based practices that foster patient well-being. His focus is on collaborating with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive interventions that help them reclaim their mental health status. He understands that work, parenting, marriage, relationships, trauma, job changes, schooling, aging, and life challenges can elicit health challenges.

Dr. Koech will create a supportive environment where patients can thrive and reach their full potential. He allows the patient to lead the development of a treatment plan and remains non-judgmental in the process of healing, especially those struggling with substance abuse. He started Health Follow-Ups Psychiatry to help make the mental health crises that innocent people are facing in life more manageable and bearable.
Dr. Koech has a particular passion for addressing Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Dementia and Schizophrenia. Outside of his professional life, Dr.Koech enjoys traveling and listening to inspirational speakers.
